Scandic Alesund

The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to Alesund Ferry Terminal. the main shopping center and a shopping area are conveniently located nearby. - My room had amazing views of the sea. - the breakfast was delicious and there was plenty to choose from. - the staff were attentive and friendly.

Stunningly beautiful and exceptionally comfortable place with welcoming employees all from the receptionists to the house keeping and restaurant staff.

- Breakfast Buffet - Gym and Sauna - Lots of bench space in the bathroom

- No kettle in the room - Very little closet space in the room - No draws or shelves to put clothing on

The hotel's location is great and lovely, and the restaurant is top-notch. It's a good place for visiting Alesund. The breakfast is very tasty and enjoyable, right on the water. There is a variety of food options and the staff are courteous. The check-in process is fast and the service is excellent.

Didn't find the breakfast very interesting. Dining area very tired and grubby. The size of the room meant that the bed was pushed into a corner so there was only one bedside table and lamp. The furniture was not matching and the cheap Ikea cupboard was unexpected.

Huge room with a wonderful view of the sea and islands and nice decor. Exceptionally nice location in Alesund, very close to nearby old town centre, many restaurants, and entire warf area and city center...

I had a really good stay at Scandic Alesund. The staff was attentive, and the food was outstanding. They offer good services and have a great selection for breakfast. The location is absolutely perfect, just minutes from Kube Art Museum. Having parking on site was also convenient.

Top hotel greatr breakfast

Hotel was centrally located,, clean and comfortable. breakfast was excellent - a fantastic choice of food. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was a little basic, but we had not gone for the more expensive option.

This is not the fault of the hotel, but we were stunned by the price of food and drink in Scandinavia. Some guests might not like large seagulls tapping on the window, hoping to be fed!

We had a great stay at the hotel. the staff were so helpful and friendly, always going out of their way to assist us. the complimentary soup and chocolate brownies in the reception were a lovely touch and made us feel welcome. the breakfast spread was delicious with a wide variety of choices, perfect for both adults and kids. the hotel's location was convenient, allowing us to explore the city on foot. the room we had was spacious, making it comfortable for our family.

We highly recommend Scandic for its quality and value for money. Cons: Nothing at all!

Nice location, almost on top of the water with great views of the harbour and town! Clean room with comfortable bed and chairs. Crispy bacon at breakfast!!!

Lobby and restaurant under renovation during my stay. They finished the work on the day of my departure. Seemed to be very fresh and modern.

I loved the location of the hotel. It was right on the waterfront and near to the town center, making it easy to explore this city. The staff were very friendly and always happy to help. the breakfast was really good, offering a great start to my day.

The hotel had a fantastic location with windows facing the sea. The room was very comfortable and warm. There was wide choice of dishes for breakfast and the restaurant had a great view over the sea as well. A girl at the reception was extremely helpful in arranging whatever type of request you had.

a pool would be a nice addition
